He was predeceased by: his parents, Virginia Thurlow Cote (White) and Reginald A. Thurlow; his significant other Nancy Irene Thurlow; and his son Jeffrey Alan Thurlow. He is survived by: his daughter Julieann Thurlow (Raymond Brown) of Medford, MA; his grandchildren, Nathan, Autumn and Alyre Blazon-Brown; and his brothers, Richard Thurlow (Theresa) of Gardner, Massachusetts and Reginald Thurlow (Jackie) of Hernando.

Visitation was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the West Sumner Baptist Church (854 Main St, Sumner, ME 04292). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Maine Veterans Cemetery (163 Mount Vernon Rd, Augusta, ME 04330).
