With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Loraine Busque of Augusta, Maine, who passed away on February 18, 2026 at the age of 103. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Philip Courtemanche and Leona Courtemanche (Blanchette); her husband Forest Busque; her sons, Richard, Philip and Michael Busque; and her granddaughter Alesa Birdsong.
She is survived by: her children, Colette Woodcock (John) of West Gardiner, Patricia Busque of Gardiner and Steven L Busque (Teresa); her sister Anita Choate of St. Petersburg, FL; her close friend Sammee Quong of Augusta; and her grandchildren, Lisa Lovely (Rick), Tracy Crocker (Jim Moran), TJ Busque (Amanda), Kelly Turner, Forest Busque (Blair), Monique St. Pierre, Ashley Wyatt (Nathan) and Erin Maroon (Jared).
