It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Lou Caron of Augusta, Maine, who passed away on July 28, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Mary Lou Caron to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Baillargeon and Aimee Baillargeon; her sister Gisele Desjardin; and her son-in-law Dennis A. Gagne. She is survived by: her husband Leo W. Caron; her daughters, Tamra Lee Gagne of Augusta, Lindy Lou Caron of Nokomis, FL, Sherry Ann Davis (Charlie) of Augusta and Luanne Webb of Cumming, GA; her grandchildren, Heather Rae Macklin, Dr. Mandy Liana Macklin, Zachary Leonard Macklin, Kyle Marshall Macklin, Lee Jared Macklin, Ciara Ashley Fortin (Matt), Austin Charles Davis, Alexandra Nicole Webb and Cameron James Webb; and her great grandchildren, Gavyn Leo Donovan and Ellis Michael Fortin.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 3rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Plummer Funeral Home (16 Pleasant St, Augusta, ME 04330). A funeral service will be held on Monday, August 4th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church (41 Western Ave, Augusta, ME 04330).
The family would like to thank the staff at Alzheimer's Care Center in Gardiner, MaineGeneral Long Term Care at Glenridge and MaineGeneral Hospice for the care and compassion during the last 5 years of caring.
