It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Roger Farren (Augusta, Maine), born in Castine, Maine, who passed away at the age of 79, on October 15, 2025. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harley H. Farren and Virginia F. Farren; and his brother David W. Farren (late Margaret L. Farren). He is survived by: his wife Joyce Farren; his children, MSgt James Farren (Tawny), Regina Farren (Conor Key) and Matthew Farren (Lorna); his stepchildren, Keleine Laflin (Scott) of Readfield, James Weymouth (Nicole) of Manchester, Julie Murphy (Chip Salisbury) of Palmyra, Tiffany Kaplan and Monmouth; and his siblings, James Farren (Annie), Jan-Marie Temple and Dorothy Nelson (Robert). He is also survived by 18 grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Penney Memorial United Baptist Church (393 Water St, Augusta, ME 04330).
