With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Thomas Wayne Beeckel (Augusta, Maine), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Cynthia E. Beeckel (Anderson) and John Niles Beeckel; and his brother John David Beeckel. He is survived by: his wife Lisa Beeckel (Tondreau); his children, Andrea Avery (Jon Avery), Dr. Stephanie Watson (Jake Watson) and John Beeckel (Allison Beeckel); his grandchildren, Riah, Jase, Jesse Avery, Anna Watson and Aubri Beeckel; his in-laws, Norman and Beatrice Tondreau; his siblings, Barbara Ann Tyndall (Doug Tyndall), Peter Beeckel (Caron Beeckel), Linda Nichols (Nick Nichols), Kurt Beeckel and Kathy Beeckel; and his sisters-in-law, Tamara Beeckel, Tina Partridge (Chuck Partridge) and Marcia Pouliot (Rick Pouliot). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, August 6th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the St. Augustine Catholic Church (75 Northern Ave, Augusta, ME 04330). A reception will be held on Wednesday, August 6th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the The Viles Arboretum (153 Hospital St, Augusta, ME 04330). A burial will be held on Wednesday, August 6th 2025 at the Holy Family Cemetery (197 Civic Center Dr, Augusta, ME 04330).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Tom's name may be made to the Augusta Food Bank, 161 Mt. Vernon Ave., Augusta, ME 04330 memo: The Kid's Pack Program, which he participated in being a part of.
