He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank E. Redding and Essie P. Redding (Taylor); and his sisters, Ruby Pearl Robinson and Dora Helene Cushing. He is survived by: his wife Helen Redding of Winslow, ME; and his daughters, Vicki Dean (Mark) of Raymond, NH, Dorene Perry (Russ) of Bucksport, ME, Willie Gray (Wells) of Aiken, SC, Leona Samuel (Chris) of Phippsburg, ME, Robin Adolphsen (Glen) and Kim Sawyer of Rockland, ME. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.
