She was predeceased by: her father Richard A. Howland; her grandparents, Horace, Martena Howland, Edward and Dorothy Mahar; and her pet Ando.
She is survived by: her mother Edwina K. Howland (Mahar) of St. Stephen, NB; her siblings, Christopher of Baring, ME and Angela of Nashville, TN; and her niece Nicole of Princeton, ME..
In lieu of flowers- Catherine expressed hope that contributions be made to the animal shelter of one's choice in memory and honor of her beloved Ando.
