Dean Fitzgerald Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dean Fitzgerald in Bangor, Maine, who passed away on March 5, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Myles Fitzgerald and Jessie Fitzgerald (Curren); and his siblings, Marie, Jeannie, Maybelle, Morris "Skipper", Helen and Bill.
He is survived by: his wife Jane Fitzgerald (Dow) of Millinocket; his children, David Fitzgerald (Pestiva) of Bangor and Lynn Gamage (Steve) of Saco; his grandchildren, Kelsey, Myles and Faith; and his sister Faye Austin (Tom) of Bridgeton. He is also survived by family; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 21st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church (19 Colby St, Millinocket, ME 04462-1595). A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Dean may be made to the Katahdin Area Support Group, PO Box 374, Millinocket, ME 04462.
