He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred S. Patterson and Marian Dexter Patterson; and his wife Deanna M. Arbo. He is survived by: his children, Denise Hodsdon (Paul) of Asheville, NC, Vicky Thayer (Wayne) of Brewer and Fred Patterson (Monica) of Brewer; his grandchildren, Andrew Patterson, Greg Patterson (Julie), Ian Thayer and Autumn Thayer; and his great grandchildren, Ainsley, Hadley and Sawyer.
