He is survived by: his children, Elaine Lovett, Ellen Scripture (Mike), Garrett Lovett Jr., Charles Lovett, Dennis Lovett (LouAnn), Robert Lovett, Stephen Lovett, Jan Hedrich (Greg) and Jon Lovett (Darlene). He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
