He was predeceased by : his parents, Howard F. Brown and Cecile B. Brown (Morin); his significant other Ruth A. Doyle Brown; his sister Gail; and his son Jeffrey.

He is survived by : his children, Barbara (Shawn), John (Lesa), Christopher (Lindsey) and Annie (Travis); his grandchildren, Thomas, Tierra, Samuel, Michael, Gabriel and Silas; his sisters, Diana (William) and Deborah; his niece Erinn; and also Wesley. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
