She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Mercadel, Sr. and Gladys Underwood Mercadel; her husband Lloyd George of Bangor; her brother Bunny Mercadel; and her aunts and uncles, Edna, Muriel, Helen, Sylvia, Vicky, Collie, David, John, Michael and Henry.
She is survived by: her aunt Laura Horne; her cousins, Karen Hogan and Kevin Roberts; her in-laws, Edson George, Sr., Helena George, Virginia and Millard; her siblings-in-law, Carol George Ross, Everett George and Roger George; and her children, Linette George of Glenburn, Nathan George of Miramar and Stacy George of Glenburn, Maine.. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
