James Sears Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Sears in Bangor, Maine, who passed away on December 28, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though James may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Loren Sears and Eva May Sears (Kelly); his daughter Jeanne Marie (Gregory) of Bangor; his wife Patricia Sears (Mapes); his brother David Sears of Texas; his daughter Anne Marie Sears (Matthew McKillop) of Swanville; and his grandchildren, Noah D'Alessio (Alyssa) of Lewiston, Cassidy D'Alessio of Brewer, Quinn D'Alessio of Orono and Sadie Riese of Bangor. He was also cherished by loving sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, and nephews.
