With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jon Young Sanborn (Bangor, Maine), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 24, 2025 at the age of 49. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Elmer, Freda Sanborn, Earl and Rose Young. He is survived by: his parents, Harry M. Sanborn and Laura J. Sanborn (Young); his family, Kendra, Phoebe and Norah; his sister Laurie Turner (Eric); his nieces and nephews, Julia, Amelia Turner, Max and Chet Shorter; his friends, Tony Manzo and Andy Crawford; his in-laws, John and Mary Turner; and his sister-in-law Johnna Shorter.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Old Town Animal Orphanage in memory of Jon's beloved pets: Tiger, Casey, Matilda and Suki.
