He was predeceased by : his parents, Thomas Winters and Lucille Winters; and his brother Wayne Winters. He is survived by : his children, Kirk Thomas Winters (Lisa Winters) and Kimberly Reynolds Samuelson (Eric William Samuelson); his grandchildren, Olivia Eckman (Lawrence Eckman), Victoria Randall (Jon Randall), Joseph, William Winters, Joshua, Kirk, Hannah and Emma Samuelson; and his great grandchildren, Judah, Levi, Zion, Noel Eckman, Lydia, Jonny and Abigail Randall.

The family prefers memorial donations be made to The Rock Church.
