He was predeceased by: his father Gary Allen. He is survived by: his wife Carol; his son James; his daughter-in-law Libby; his granddaughter Amanda; his daughter Jessica; his son-in-law D. J. McGary; his mother Linda Allen; and his sister Kelli (Dan Felkel). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.

Visitation was held on Sunday, February 1st 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Shrine Center (1404 Broadway, Bangor, ME 04401). A funeral service was held on Sunday, February 1st 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
