She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Watts and Hazel Watts (White); and her siblings, Charlotte Lowe Devincentis, Natalie Lowe Catalona, Leta Lowe Smith, Betty Lowe Varney, Mary Lowe Mawhinney McNeil and Dale W. Lowe.

She is survived by: her husband James W. Varney of Jonesboro; her children, Dennise Varney, Randy (Jeannette Varney) of Jonesboro and Troy Varney (Brandi Farrington) of Bangor; her grandson Bryce (Travis Brestelli) of Westbrook, Connecticut; her children, Ashley (Whitney Stevens) of Whiting, Ross McEwen of Auburn, Tyler Varney (Keirstin) of Marshfield, Jackson Varney of Bangor and Cameron Varney (Alexis Schneiderat) of Portland; her great grandchildren, Kole, Kiana, Kingsley Stevens, Peyton, Parker Varney and Charlotte Brestelli; and her siblings-in-law, Kenneth Varney, Jane Smith Varney and June Holden Lowe. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
