He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin "Breezy" Ambrose and Mary Ambrose (Wahl); and his siblings, Teresa A. Bowen and John Ambrose. He is survived by: his brother Richard W. Ambrose (Linda) of Glenburn; his niece Rachel Ambrose; his great-nephew Keenan Ambrose Jones; his nieces and nephews, Richard E. Ambrose (Shari Haley), Leah Ambrose (Paul Dunbar), Benjamin "Ben" Bowen and Johnna M. Daugherty (Franklin); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Harry and Isla; and his nephew John W. Ambrose II.
