He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Ronald Day and Tish Day; his wife Kathy Day (McCleary); his sons, Brian and Andrew; his granddaughter Christine; and his great grandchild Oliver. He was also cherished by three siblings, brothers in law, nieces and nephews, cousins, many friends.
