She was predeceased by : her parents, William Scott and Mary Scott (McNaught); her son Carl; her siblings, Gary Scott and Barbara Cloney; and her friends, Jackie Gayton and Diane Barker.

She is survived by : her husband Carl Mahar; her brother Bill Scott; her son Kevin (Laurie); her grandchildren, Matthew Cassidy, Leslie Moffatt and Jamie Moffatt; her son Steven; her grandchildren, Jesse Miller, Stevey Rae Mahar, Kyle and Morgan Mahar; her daughter Kelly; and her grandchildren, Bradley Mahar, Chelsea Skelton, Samantha Meserve and Rocky Meserve. She is also survived by eight great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
