The memory of Nora Gillis of Bangor, Maine, who passed away on August 27, 2025 at the age of 97, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Russell Roy and Myrtle Latter (McDonald); her husband Gus; and her brothers, Gordon, Donald, Clayton and Angus Latter.
She is survived by: her children, Russell (Lita), Beverly (Arthur Greene), Cynthia (Maurice Brown), Alane (Richard Gayton) and Earle (Lisa); and her grandchildren, Allan, Christopher Gillis, Vanessa Fernandez Greene (Juan C.), Meridith Greene Cross (Eben Cross), Nicholas Brown (Barbara), Jennifer Johnson (Damian Lauer), Leslie Brown (Richard Staff), Christopher Bowker (Mariah), Keely Gayton (Dale Leonard), Julia Gillis (Wayne MacCabe) and Shawn Gillis (Kendra). She is also survived by 19 great-grandchildren.
