Philip Thomas Obituary
We are sad to announce that on July 23, 2025, at the age of 109, Philip Thomas of Bangor, Maine passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Philip departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Philip. Though Philip may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his mother Lucile Thomas (Bray); his wife Dorothy "Dot" (Howard); his sisters, Priscilla and Joanne; and his grandson Sean.
He is survived by: his father Roy Thomas; his children, John H. Thomas, Owen B. Thomas (Deborah) and Sue E. Thomas; and his sisters, Elizabeth Thomas and Linda Thomas. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.
The military honors will be held on Monday, August 11th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Brookings-Smith (133 Center St, Bangor, ME 04401). A funeral service will be held on Monday, August 11th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
