She was predeceased by: her parents, George M. II and Inez Wood II (Boynton); her husband Norman; her brother George Wood III (Lillian); and her niece Linda Kelleher.
She is survived by: her children, April Ripley (Carl) and Dana Knapp (Twila); her grandchildren, Zachery Knapp (Terry-Lynn) and Anna Whitney (Justin); and her great grandchildren, Weston Knapp, Maxwell, Levi and Luke Whitney. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Brookings-Smith (133 Center St, Bangor, ME 04401). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
