Dawes of Bangor, Maine, born in Boston, Massachusetts, who passed away on December 12, 2022, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilfred Dawes and Margaret Dawes (Moorhead); and his children, Eric Dawes and Jennifer Dawes Gomm. He is survived by: his wife Lucy Dawes; his granddaughter Mykayla of Bangor; his brother Dennis Dawes (Kim) of Belgrade; and his siblings-in-law, Dan Poland (Linda), Charlie Poland (Brenda), Wesley Poland (Belinda), Doug Poland, Ellen Poland Shaw, Eloise Poland, Muriel Poland, Anna Bragdon and Heidi Daigle. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
