He was predeceased by: his wife Lillia May McCullen (Haskell); his former wife Evelyn Mayhew; his grandsons, Isaac Greenlaw and Aarron Spinney; and his son-in-law Donald Ayer (Skip).

He is survived by: his children, Nancy Greenlaw (Gary), Everard McCullen (Molly), John McCullen (Linda), David McCullen, Barbie Ayer and Joshua McCullen (Elizabeth). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Brookings-Smith (133 Center St, Bangor, ME 04401). A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location. A reception will be held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Family Reception Center of Brookings-Smith (163 Center St, Bangor, ME 04401).
