He is survived by: his wife Bunny; his daughter AnneMarie (David Messer) of Bangor; his grandchildren, Angella Day Messer, Derek Messer (Brandy) of Brewer and Seth Messer; his great grandchildren, Peter Messer, Austin, Taylor and Ryan Messer; his nieces, Carole Dowling Bennett (Mike), Taylor Dowling, Kristen Dowling, Ava and Logan Dowling; Herbert Lee Day.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Family Reception Center of Brookings-Smith (163 Center St, Bangor, ME 04401).
