He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Carl Gustavson and Dorothy Gustavson; his wife Barbara A. Carpenter (Woodard); his brother-in-law Reginald Woodard, Jr.; and his close friend Tina Murphy.

Scott requested that no formal service be held but requested that memorial donations be made to Bangor Humane Society, 693 Mt. Hope Ave., Bangor, ME 04401 or at bangorhumane.org.
