She was predeceased by: her parents, William A. Barrett and Vera M. Barrett (Rowden); her husband Walter C. Gehan; and her siblings, JoEtta, Eugene, William and Linda.
She is survived by: her children, Michael D. Gehan (Laurie Gamage) of Elizabeth City, NC and Mischelle E. Adams (Alan) of Hermon; her sister Patricia Talburt of Tulsa, OK; her grandchildren, Alexis M. Fortier (Ian), Gabriella K. Adams (Jeffrey Smith), Braydon M. Gehan (Michaela Roderick) and Alaina C. Adams (Alex Woodward); her great grandchild Vivienne Leigh-Anne; and her close friend Jodie A. Umble.
