It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Sylvia Cecile Ouellette in Bangor, Maine, born in Caribou, Maine, who passed away on March 27, 2024, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Joseph Dufour and Isabelle Dufour (Gagnon); her siblings, Herbert, Gilbert Dufour, Dorothy Turner and Doris Dufour; and her grandson Sean LaPointe.

She is survived by : her children, Ronald LaPointe Jr. (Trinity Rockhold) of Hamlin and Wanda Ouellette (Adam Lafland) of Mapleton; her siblings, Vandale Dufour, Linda Thompson, Leona Hurst and Mary Grace Blake; her grandchildren, Dustin Giggey (Casey Morrow), Alicia Giggey, Sierra Putnam (Dan), Dylan Giggey (Trinity Howard), Britney LaPointe (Jesse Prescott), Victoria LaPointe and Emily LaPointe; and her niece Jane Roman.
