He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Barron and Edna Barron of Pennsville; his wife Polly Barron; his children, Sharonlee Barron and William D. Barron Jr.; and his siblings, Grace and Jack.
He is survived by: his sons, John Barron of Bangor and Jeffrey Barron (Lori) of Falmouth; his close friend Deloris Semmon of Orono; and his grandchildren, Isaac Barron, Rhianna Bernal and Cameron Trefry.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 7th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hampden-Gilpatrick Chapel of Brookings-Smith (45 Western Ave, Hampden, ME 04444). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the All Souls Congregational Church (10 Broadway, Bangor, ME 04401).
