He was predeceased by: his parents, William F. Gallagher Sr. and Theresa Kelly Gallagher. He is survived by: his former wife Diane Shugrue Gallagher; his children, William Gallagher (Mary Blumenthal) of Framingham, Maura Gallagher of Boston, Claire Gallagher of Cambridge and Katherine Gallagher of Quincy; and his grandchildren, Jack Gallagher of Worcester, MA and Jane Gallagher of Norfolk, VA.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to the Sail, Power & Steam Museum, located at 75 Mechanic St., Rockland, Maine.
