She was predeceased by : her parents, Marjorie Sprague Grindle and Alonzo Herbert Grindle Jr.. She is survived by : her children, James Nolan (Joelle), Robert Nolan (Bob), Marjorie Nolan (Mardie) and Stacey Gilfillan (Michael); and her grandchildren, Robert Nolan, Carrie Nolan, Emily Damon, Corry Mace, Allie Bodge, Andrew Gilfillan, Danielle Elwell and Alexander Gilfillan. She is also survived by 14 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers donations in Nancy's memory can be made to Mt Desert Nurses Association, P.O. Box 397, Northeast Harbor, ME 04662.
