With solemn reverence, we commemorate Georgia Abbott Blagdon of Bar Mills, Maine, whose life came to an end on April 8, 2026 at the age of 88, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Abbott and Marion Abbott (Rines); and her grandmother Georgia. She is survived by: her children, Erica, Elise, Christine and Jay Jr. (Jack); her granddaughters, Athena and Ava; her great grandchildren, Louisa and Charlie; her son Sam Koenigsberg (Molly Adams); her granddaughter Elise Brelis (Chris); her daughter Athena Osbourne (Mitchell); her grandchildren, Nathan Brelis (Audrey Zagar), Christine Blagdon, Elliot Pearson, Mitchell Pearson and Jack Blagdon; and her in-laws, John, Gertie Blagdon and Jonice Oliver. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and beloved cousins.
The family thanks the many caregivers who helped Georgia live as contentedly as possible through dementia, COVID, and a stroke that profoundly compromised her autonomy but paradoxically eased her lifelong depression and increased her access to peace during these years.
