She was predeceased by: her parents, George Winship Perkins and Alice O. Perkins (Lilly); her aunt Mary; her uncle Milton Carlton; her siblings, Marjorie Label and Robert Perkins; and her husband Chick Vaillancourt.
She is survived by: her former spouse Morse High; her children, James J. Vaillancourt Jr. (Patricia) of Northwood, NH, Leon J. Vaillancourt (Kelly) of Bath and Ann M. London (Eric) of Bath; and her stepchildren, Robert T. Ramsay (Cheryl) of Topsham, Randy E. Ramsay of Portland and Lori E. Rines (Mark) of Wiscasset. She is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 31st 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Desmond Funeral Home (638 High St, Bath, ME 04530). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 31st 2026 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, October 31st 2026 at 11:30 AM at the Oak Grove Cemetery (15 Aspen Ln, Bath, ME 04530). A reception will be held on Saturday, October 31st 2026 at 12:30 PM at the Londons' Home (250 Centre St, Bath, ME 04530).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Bath/Brunswick, 85 Maine Street, Brunswick, ME 04011, in honor of Perk's many years of dedicated support for their youth mentoring programs.
