He is survived by: his wife Betty A. Mitchell of Bath; his children, Mikey H. Mitchell of Bath, Frankie L. Mitchell of Bath and Samantha Atwater (Chris) of Litchfield; his siblings, Alan Mitchell (Carol) of Brunswick, Ronald Mitchell (Donna) of Bath, Edward Mitchell (Tami) of Pennsylvania and Amy Nelson of Florida; his grandchildren, Alison Mitchell, Caden Mitchell and Maddox Mitchell; and his sisters-in-law, Alice Smith (Tom) of Charlston, S. C. and Theresa Smothers (Les Holbrook) of Richmond. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and great nieces and nephews.
