It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Arthur Merchant of Beals, Maine, who passed away on August 1, 2025, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ephriam Merchant Jr. and Olive Beal (Merchant); his daughter Crystal Gail Merchant; and his stepfather Alvin Beal. He is survived by: his wife Wanda Merchant; his children, Chastity Reynolds (Wade), Darek Merchant (Tracy), Christopher Merchant, Sarah Merchant (Patrick Foucher), Patrick Merchant (Morgan), Ian Alley (Sabrina) and Timothy Alley (Trudy); his grandchildren, Ethan, Rylee Reynolds, Howard Foucher, Nixon, Baby, Brooke (Joe), Avery, Samuel, Eli, Bexley Alley, Mallory and Owen Alley; Joanne and Marvin Kelley. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
