She was predeceased by: her parents, Maurice Higgins and Nola Higgins (Berry) of East Thorndike; and her grandson Christopher. She is survived by: her children, Michael (Jackie), George (Holly), Rodney (Debra), Elaine and Greg (Shirley); and her grandchildren, Angie, Shane, Brett, Cami, Melissa, Sarah, Nicole, Amanda, Carrie, Johnny and Isaac. She is also survived by 23 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Riposta Funeral Home (182 Waldo Ave, Belfast, ME 04915). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Knox Ridge Baptist Church (115 Knox Ridge Rd N, Knox, ME 04986).
