Commissioner William Shorey Obituary
We are sad to announce that, on December 12, 2024, Commissioner William Shorey (Belfast, Maine) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Hershel Shorey and Kathryn Shorey (Crowley); and his brothers, Neil and Scott. He is survived by: his wife Jean; his children, Wendy Shorey Flannery and Craig Shorey (Kristen); his grandchildren, Alex Flannery (Kaleigh), Zachary Flannery (Hollie Morneault), Owen Flannery, Jillian Shorey and Ryan Shorey; his great grandchild Luke Flannery; his sisters, Nancy Richardson (Dale) and Carol Dean (John); and his friend Dr. Jim Delehanty of Belfast. He is also survived by several nephews and a niece.
