With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Douglas S. Pierce of Belfast, Maine, born in Berlin, Massachusetts, who passed away on January 4, 2026 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth M. Pierce and Helen L. Pierce (Brown); his son David; his brother Roger; his nephew Joseph Orlando; and his niece Katelyn Gecik.
He is survived by: his wife Susan Orlando of Concord, MA.; his daughter Emma Newton (Scott); his grandsons, Tyler and Russell Newton; and his sister Lynn Christensen. He is also survived by brothers- and sisters-in-law, and his many nephews and nieces.
