It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gari P. Oxton (Belfast, Maine), who passed away on March 9, 2024, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Frank, Sr. Patterson and Margarite "Peggy" Patterson; her husband Richard E. Oxton, Sr.; her siblings, Beverly Grant, Marilyn Cook and Gale Knowlton; and her son-in-law Neal Wood.

She is survived by : her children, Debora Riley (Walter "Frank"), Susan Wood, Richard Jr. Oxton (Delores) and David Oxton (Colleen); her grandchildren, Frank E. Riley (Andrea Murphy), Jaime Maresh (Cat), Henry Littlefield, Brandon Oxton (Michelle) and Cassandra Anderson (Robert); her great grandchildren, Hunter Maresh (Anna), Brayden Oxton and Mason Oxton; her brother Frank Patterson Jr.; her brothers-in-law, Keith Grant and Robert Cook; and her caregivers, Carol, Ellen, Trish, Faye, Jenny, Linda, Tracy, Cathy, Sue, Kim, Connie Nancy "Kitty" and Kelsey. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to her beloved Church: Belfast First Baptist Church, Building Maintenance Fund, 95 High St., Belfast, ME, 04915.
