George A. Savage Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of George A. Savage (Belfast, Maine), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 4, 2025 at the age of 87. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of George A. Savage to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Savage and Lillian Kallock; his children, Georgia Gunning and Jeremy Savage; his granddaughter Tamara Towle Vasile; his brother Eugene Dube; and his children, Brenda Mitchell (Paul), George "Buddy" Savage (Robin), Debra Lucas (Steve), Pamela Tondreau (Reggie), Angela Stanford (Rick), Donna Harris, Jennifer Brunelle (Shawn) and Ned Savage (Trish).
He is survived by: his wife Theresa Betit; and his siblings, Shirley Kinney, Marjorie Rosenbecker, Marilee Harlan (Harry) and Peter Dube (Diane). He is also survived by 29 grandchildren, and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Sidney Second Baptist Church (3022 W River Rd, Sidney, ME 04330).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in George's memory to Sidney Fire/Rescue Department, c/o Chief Richard Jandreau, 2587 Middle Rd., Sidney, Maine 04330 George leaves behind a legacy of love, service, and family that will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
