She was predeceased by: her parents, Patrick Ruel and Elsie Ruel; her husband John Mitchell; her brother Jim Ruel; her siblings-in-law, Katherine Gray, Ruth Hartley, Virginia Mitchell and Grayson Hartley (Ralph Gray); and her grandson Garrett Dunlap.
She is survived by: her children, Kirke Read (Nancy), Mark Read (Jeannie), Karen Benoit (Cliff), Chris Read (Denise) and Rebecca Walsh (Bill); her grandchildren, Ben, Jon, Megan, Leila, Keriane, Forrest, Clinton, Brittany, Annie, Sarah, Matt, Fallon and Paddy; and her siblings-in-law, Maurice Mitchell and Diane Ruel. She is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren, special nieces and nephews.
