It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Wayne Winchester (Belfast, Maine), who passed away on December 16, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his mother Thelma "Toot" Quirk (Quirk); and his stepfather James Quirk. He is survived by: his children, Richard W. Marshall and Megan Kiley; his wife Avis; his daughter Bobbi Johnson (Bruce); his granddaughters, Brooklyn and Averie; his stepgrandson Jaiden; his granddaughters, Kimberly, Rebecca and Tiffany; and his friends, Donnie, Linda Durkee of Islesboro and Joe Morrison of Whiting.
Those wishing to honor Richard may donate in his memory to the Belfast Ambulance, Fire, and EMS; Life Flight of Maine; or Shriners Children's Hospitals.
