He was predeceased by: his girlfriend MaryEllen Beaulieu; his partner's child Dana Beaulieu; his children, Michael and Sally Beaulieu; his parents, Edna Gilbert and Leo Gilbert; his brothers, Bernard, Gerald, Fred and Arthur; and his nephew Kevin Gilbert.
He is survived by: his former wife Antionette Gilbert; his children, Rhonda Cain (AJ) and Steven Gilbert (Anne); his grandchildren, Reagan Gourley (Nate), Keegan Cain (Tristian), Hazel Gilbert and Nora Gilbert; his great grandchildren, Anthony Cain, Noah Cain, Kinsley Jo Gourley and Paisley Rae Gourley; and his nieces and nephews, Jeff Gilbert, Leo Gilbert, Kathy Gilbert and Lori Simpson.
