With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rosemary Lailer (Belfast, Maine), who passed away on February 26, 2026 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Frank Lailer Sr.; and her nephew Robert Smith (Bub). She is survived by: her children, Timothy Lailer (Elizabeth) of Hartland Wisconsin, Anne Fongemie (Michael Laplante) of Gardiner Maine and Frank Lailer Jr. (Kimberly) of Fairfield Maine; her grandchildren, Samuel, Alexandra, Charles, Grace, Peter and Joseph; her great grandchild Rylie Rose; her sister Sharon Smith of South Portland; her nieces, Kimberly Smith of Westbrook and Allison Caron of South Portland; her great-nephew James Godin of Florida; and her pet Bailee.
