It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bertha Hardison (Biddeford, Maine), who passed away on March 14, 2026, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Bertha departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Bertha. Though Bertha may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Morse and Viola Morse; her husband Harold Hardison; her son Stephen; and her brothers, Clarence Morse Jr., Norman Morse and James Morse.
She is survived by: her daughters, Terri Hardison of Portland and Sandra Small of Westbrook; and her brother Lester Morse. She is also survived by three grandchildren; great-grandchildren.
