He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Gerald and Helen; his wife Elizabeth; his siblings, Dale Carter, Ray Carter and Cathy Rayner; his siblings-in-law, Susan Carter, Michelle Wiedenfeld and Steven Rayner; his stepdaughter Megan Sayer (Ryan Sayer); his nieces and nephews, Jared Bridges, David Carter, Dylan Carter, Kali Rayner, Sarah Regal and Taylorae Carter; and his granddaughter Ava Sayer.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM and at 11:00 AM at the Chad E. Poitras Cremation and Funeral Service Chapel (498 Long Plains Rd, Buxton, ME 04093). A reception was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
