Elizabeth Theresa Gerding Obituary
With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Elizabeth Theresa Gerding of Biddeford, Maine, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Elizabeth left this world on June 16, 2025 at the age of 87, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Fitzpatrick and Mary Elizabeth Fitzpatrick; her husband James Gerding; her son Daniel; and her sister Catherine Pierce.
She is survived by: her children, James (Stella), Joanne Naso (Paul), Margaret Gerding, Mark (Janet) and Mary Beth Loges (Peter); and her siblings, Sylvia Libby, Mary McGrath, Dorothy Tarzia, Ruth Rioux, Joseph Fitzpatrick and Edward Fitzpatrick. She is also survived by brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 23rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Bibber Memorial Chapel - Kennebunk (67 Summer St, Kennebunk, ME 04043). A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, June 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Martha's Catholic Church (30 Portland Rd, Kennebunk, ME 04043).
