He was predeceased by: his parents, Dennis (Georgia Vranitis) and Greek. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Packard Vanites; his sister Theodora Lebares; his daughters, Georgia Ingram, Anastasia Danton and Maria Piepergerdes; and his stepchildren, Holly Skillin Dearborn, Kim Traina and Mark Skillin. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and one great-grandson.
