Margaret Harmon Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Margaret Harmon of Biddeford, Maine, who passed away on October 6, 2025 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Terance Michael Dever and Frances Mary Theresa Mullen; her former husband Andres A. "Big Andy" Verzosa Sr.; and her son Manuel A. Verzosa (Manny). She is survived by: her cousins, Frances Mullen Kierstead, Michael Mullen and Barbara Mullen Black; her husband Paul A. Harmon of Biddeford; her sons, Andres A. Verzosa (David Whaples) of New Britain, Connecticut, Joseph A. Verzosa (Patty Dillingham) of Westbrook and John L. Verzosa (Jennifer Farina Verzosa) of Stafford, Virginia; her granddaughters, Ava and Emma Verzosa; and her siblings, Frances Mullen Kierstead (Bob) of Scarborough, Eunice Hughes Karmann of Alta Vista, Kansas and Kevin Kilmartin of Portland. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 9:15 AM at the Conroy-Tully Walker Funeral Home of South Portland (1024 Broadway, South Portland, ME 04106). A prayer will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at 9:15 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception (307 Congress St, Portland, ME 04101). A burial will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Calvary Cemetery (1461 Broadway, South Portland, ME 04106).
Instead of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Animal Refuge League of Greater Portland, World Central Kitchen, or Doctors Without Borders, reflecting Peg's lifelong compassion and belief in helping others. The family greatly appreciates donations made to these charities in Margaret "Peg" Harmon 's name.
